All my works
It all boils down to human. This is a record of human research. Whenever I think about inspiration, my head is full of questions. So I decided to draw and paint something. I used many lines to draw and express my feelings, soul, and thought. I like the movement of lines.
Sometimes it's more powerful than words or something else. Francis Bacon. Now I think he is right. It was so sad.
But we have to accept our limitation. Getting old is inevitable.
We all die. We are just piece of flesh. So what can we do?
When people face extreme trauma, their personality is dissociated. It's natural.I try to find out the meaning behind my behavior or works. In other words, I'm gathering pieces of my broken soul. We need healing. It's impossible to heal ourselves with lies. Maybe this can be possible with spiritual ways we don't know.
So now I have my own answer. It's from the movie 'The Unexpected virtue of Ignorance' and Mark Rothko.
I respect culture. It's like an significant clue. It's like my teacher. But it's not enough. Still a conundrum. Are we on the right road? Our contemporaries? I'll continue to explore. How about you? Jason Kim
